Canberra is full of large 1970s and 80s districts — Belconnen, Tuggeranong, Woden — where the original kitchen is long overdue for renovation, alongside newer Gungahlin and inner-north homes wanting a premium upgrade. Each era has its own quirks: older sub-floors and services that need re-routing, asbestos caution in pre-1985 homes, and modern slab homes where moving plumbing means cutting the slab. We’ve worked across all of it and quote for what your home actually involves, not a one-size template.
Compliant stone — and honest about the ban.
Since 1 July 2024 high-silica engineered stone has been banned across Australia to protect stonemasons from silicosis. Some operators still cut corners. We only fabricate and install compliant materials — natural stone, porcelain, and low-silica engineered stone under 1% crystalline silica — through suppliers who follow Safe Work Australia dust controls. You still get a stunning, durable benchtop; it’s just done the legal, safe way.
One fixed price, one program, one accountable team.
A kitchen reno touches cabinetry, stone, plumbing, electrical, tiling and appliances. Manage it yourself and a slipped trade can stall the whole job. We coordinate every trade to a written program and a fixed price agreed before we start, with the plumbing and electrical certified and the waterproofing done to AS 3740 where it applies. You get one point of contact from the first measure to the final clean.

Fixed quote
A written, itemised, fixed-price quote and program — including whether the job needs ACTPLA approval and any asbestos checks for older homes.
Make & strip-out
Cabinetry is manufactured while we book trades. Then demolition, and rough-in of plumbing and electrical to AS/NZS standards.
Install
Cabinetry installed, benchtop templated and fitted, splashback and tiling, then appliance and tapware fit-off. Plumbing and electrical certified.
Handover
Final clean, defect walk-through, compliance certificates and care guide. We don’t call it done until you’re happy with it.
